C'est Fou  translated means "It's Crazy" in French.  It is the label of Susan's fashions.  It was inspired during her work as an assistant fashion designer in Paris.  Customer testimonials on the fabrics have been "beautiful. unusual textures and bold colors."  Every garment is machine washable tumble dry.  They are merchandized according to sizes - small, medium, and large, and then altered to fit the customer's unique body size and shape.  The sizing ranges from size 4 to size 20.

Susan Metzger is in her 15th year on Grand Avenue, and has been a local fashion designer for over 23 years.  The dress shop is filled with over 350 one-of-a-kind outfits.  Everywhere you look, you see affordable jewelry that has been handmade by local artists.  Hats, scarves, and fashion bags flow through the entire shop.

What makes Susan Metzger different from other dress shops ?

           In one word - Service. 
Susan alters every outfit to fit the figure, free of charge.  Her area of expertise is in fit, and years of work in the fashion industry adds to the knowledge necessary to be a successful designer.  Susan will always educate the customer about body type and which designs are the most flattering for the figure. 
The one-on-one conversation she has with the customers, about their concerns, has always set Susan apart from the usual dress shop experience.

Can I afford a C'est Fou outfit ?

The average price for an original outfit is $150.  Every garment is sized and priced separately, so an average top would be $72 and a skirt would be $78.

Baby boomers love Susan’s shop; the majority of the shoppers are young working women, professional women and retired ladies. The median age is 40 to 60. They all find something as individual and ageless as they are.  What these women have in common is the desire for fashion, fit, comfort and a wonderful shopping experience.
